The project consisted of the refurbishment works of the Hotel Al Massira which is located in Tobruk, Libya. The project was owned by the Social Security Fund and TML was the main contractor for the project.
The Hotel Complex includes 88 twin-rooms, 28 double-rooms, 8 suites, 2 presidential suites, 16 studio type rooms, 2 studio type presidential suites, and 17 villas and will serve for 289 beds. In addition to the public and general service areas, the hotel also includes an auditorium with a seating capacity of 153 people, an outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts, a lobby lounge for 134 people, a coffee house for 103 people, a restaurant with a capacity of 167 people, a conference hall for approximately 150 people, and shops.
Scope of Work
Renovation of the finishing works (including, wall - floor - ceiling finishes, woodworks and metal works, etc.);
Renewal of external and internal doors and windows;
Replacement of existing roof insulation system;
Installation of new electro-mechanical systems (i.e. heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical systems);
Renovation of external facilities including paving, planting, walkways, tennis courts, swimming pool etc.;
Supply of furniture, kitchenware, laundry equipment etc.
