Project included the construction of a 340 m diameter cable stayed reinforced concrete shall roof, to cover approximately one million cub.m capacity circular bulk water storage reservoir near Al-Maarsine-Makkah. It consisted of the construction of 60 m high 88 concrete towers by slipforming technology and 110 + 60 m radial concrete beams supported by prestressing cables from these towers, and installation of precast concrete shall roof panels of 6.5 cm thickness.
