Key features of Work Scope:
Reconditioning of deck, structural and mechanical elements of Jetty 2 at Tobruk Terminal.

The scope of works included;
Each segment of the Jetty 2,
    · Demolishing the trunkway and jetty neck concrete deck and replace all with prefabricated reinforced concrete deck elements,
    · Repairing the deck concrete of jetty head,
    · Overhauling and painting of 4 nos of  loading arms on the jetty head,
    · Renewal of concrete supports of loading pipes on the jetty head,
    · Demolition and reconstruction of 5 reinforced concrete mooring dolphins,
    · Repairing of piles under  mooring dolphins,
    · Replacement of capstans on mooring dolphins,
    · Renewal of wooden and rubber fenders on breasting and mooring dolphins,
    · Renewal of buffer and hinge system of breasting dolphins,
    · Grit blasting and painting of all steel structures,
    · Renewal of lighting system,
    · Replacement of all fastening elements of steel structures,
    · Renewal of HDG cable trays and cable tray supports,
    · Replacement of all gratings and handrails.

Shore approach, Jetty 1 & Jetty 2,
    · Removal of existing fire fighting system,
    · Designing a new fire fighting system for both jetties suitable for tankers with 300 m hull length,
    · Installation of new fire fighting system with GRE pipes,
    · Sand blasting and painting of 34” loading, 24” blast and 6” recovery oil lines of the whole jetty,
    · Sand blasting and painting of all piles of the whole jetty parts.
