Repair of Misurata Oil Jetty which was damaged by ship impact.
A part laden oil tanker collided with the Misurata Oil Jetty, 5th February 2005, with the bulbous bow of the ship impacting the structure 5m below the water line and the ship superstructure impacting three of the four loading arms. The jetty incurred structural damage below water with one pile sheared off the soffit and displaced laterally at the head. The resultant cantilever platform can now no longer take any loading. In addition two of the four loading arms on the topsides have been damaged beyond repair with a third requiring repair.      · Reinstate piping, test and commission all reinstated facilities
